SMS Consent · Effective

Get your job updates by text.

JobStack sends appointment reminders, estimates, and invoices by text on behalf of the trade business you hired — the electrician, plumber, handyman, or lawn care company that runs their scheduling and billing on JobStack. We text you only if you have agreed to it. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to end the messages, or HELP for help. Consent is never a condition of buying anything.

Use this form if you asked the business to text you and want to opt in yourself. All fields are required.

How customers opt in

These are the only ways a number enters the JobStack messaging program. We never buy, rent, or scrape phone numbers, and we never text a number a business has not recorded consent for.

In person or over the phone

You give the business your mobile number and agree to be texted about the job. They record that consent in JobStack, along with the date and how you gave it.

On a quote request, estimate, or service agreement

A form or document from the business includes a separate, unchecked box carrying the consent language below. Checking it is optional — you can still book the job without it.

By texting the business first

If you start the conversation by texting the business at their JobStack number, that opens the exchange and we reply about your job.

On this page

Fill in the form below and confirm from your phone. Use this route if you asked to be texted and have not been set up yet.

What we text you

Only these four kinds of message, and only about a job you booked with that business. No marketing, no promotions, no third-party offers.

Appointment reminders

Confirmations when a visit is booked, a reminder the day before, and a heads-up when the technician is on the way or running late.

Sample message Hi [Name], your appointment with [Business Name] is scheduled for [Date] at [Time]. Reply C to confirm or R to reschedule. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Estimates and quotes

A link to review an estimate the business prepared for you, and a note when that estimate is updated or about to expire.

Sample message Hi [Name], [Business Name] sent you an estimate for [Amount]. Review and approve: jobstackcrm.com/e/[Code]. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Invoices and receipts

A link to view and pay an invoice, a receipt once payment clears, and a reminder if an invoice goes past due.

Sample message Hi [Name], invoice [Invoice Number] from [Business Name] for [Amount] is ready. View and pay: jobstackcrm.com/i/[Code]. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Replies about your job

Answers when you text the business back with a question about scheduling, an estimate, or an invoice.

Sample message Hi [Name], [Business Name] received your message and will reply shortly. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

Frequency, cost, and stopping

How often

Message frequency varies and depends on your job. Most customers get between 2 and 8 messages per job — typically a booking confirmation, a reminder before the visit, an estimate, and an invoice.

What it costs

JobStack charges you nothing for these messages. Message and data rates may apply. Check your plan with your mobile carrier.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message. You get one confirmation that you are unsubscribed, and nothing after that. STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT all work.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, or email hello@jobstackcrm.com .
