For Customers
You got a message from a business that uses JobStack.
JobStack is the software behind the trade business you hired — the electrician, plumber, handyman, or lawn care company that is doing your job. They use JobStack to schedule visits, send estimates, and bill, so appointment reminders, estimates, and invoices reach you from us on their behalf. We are not trying to sell you anything, and you can stop the texts any time by replying STOP.
What do you need?
Stop the texts

Opt-out detailsGet help by text

hello@jobstackcrm.comAgree to receive texts

Consent pageCheck that a message is real
We never ask for card numbers, bank details, or passwords by text. If a message does, it is not from us.
How to tellHow to tell a real message from a scam
Text scams impersonating contractors are common. Three checks settle it.
It names the business you hired
Every message identifies the contractor by name and refers to a job you actually booked. A message about a job you never scheduled is not from us.
It never asks for secrets
We will never ask you by text for a card number, bank account, Social Security number, or password. Payments happen on a secure page you reach yourself, never by replying with card digits.
When in doubt, call the business
Do not tap the link. Call the contractor on the number you already have for them and ask. That one step defeats every version of this scam.
Think a message impersonating JobStack is going around? Forward it to hello@jobstackcrm.com and we will investigate. You can also report SMS spam to your carrier by forwarding the message to 7726 (SPAM).
Common questions
Why am I getting texts from JobStack?
You hired a trade business — an electrician, plumber, handyman, lawn care company, or similar contractor — that uses JobStack to run its scheduling and billing. When they confirm an appointment, send an estimate, or bill you, the message goes out through JobStack. We are the software behind the business, not a separate company trying to sell you anything.
How did you get my phone number?
From the business you hired. They entered it when they booked your job, or you gave it on a quote request or estimate. We do not buy, rent, or scrape phone numbers, and we never text a number the business has not recorded consent for.
How do I stop the texts?
Reply STOP to any message. You will get a single confirmation and nothing after that. STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT all work. If you hired more than one business that uses JobStack, reply STOP to each one — opting out of one does not opt you out of the others.
Does opting out cancel my job or my bill?
No. Opting out only stops the text messages. Your appointment stands and any invoice you owe is still due — the business will just reach you by phone or email instead.
Do the texts cost me anything?
JobStack does not charge you for them. Message and data rates may apply. That is between you and your mobile carrier, so check your plan if you are unsure.
Will you sell or share my phone number?
No. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Your number goes to the business you hired and to the carriers that deliver the message. That is it.
Is this message a scam?
Check three things. A real JobStack message names the business you hired, relates to a job you actually booked, and never asks for a card number, bank details, a Social Security number, or a password. We only ever link to jobstackcrm.com pages. If anything looks off, do not tap the link — call the business at the number you already have for them.
I got a text meant for someone else. What now?
Reply STOP and we will remove your number right away. You can also email hello@jobstackcrm.com and we will look into it. Numbers get reassigned by carriers, so this happens occasionally and we want to fix it.
How do I get my information deleted?
The business you hired holds your customer record — JobStack stores it on their behalf, so ask them first and they can delete it. If you cannot reach them, email us and we will help route the request.
